Pedestrian Killed in Late-Night Crash on Eisenhower Parkway, Driver Charged with DUI

MACON, Georgia (KBTV) -A man is dead after being struck by a vehicle Sunday night on Eisenhower Parkway, according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies say the crash happened around 9:28 p.m. on May 10, 2026 at the intersection of Eisenhower Parkway and Heron Street.

Investigators say a Chevrolet Camaro was traveling west on Eisenhower Parkway when it struck a pedestrian crossing the roadway. The pedestrian was identified as 61-year-old Michael Keith Miles of Macon. Officials say Miles was wearing dark clothing at the time of the crash.

Miles suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene by Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones. Authorities say no other injuries were reported.

During the investigation, deputies identified the driver as Dadrean Rashard Felton of Macon. Investigators suspected Felton was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision.

After further investigation, Felton was taken into custody and transported to the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center. He has been charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and is currently being held without bond.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says the investigation remains active and additional updates could be released as more information becomes available.
