MACON, Georgia (KBTV) – June is Men’s Mental Health Month, making it the perfect time for important conversations about emotional wellness and healing.
That’s the message behind Man Enough to Break, a new film by director Ronald Parker that sheds light on the mental health challenges many men face. KBTV’s Dr. Karlisha Booze recently interviewed Parker about the film and its mission to encourage men to speak openly about their struggles and seek support when needed. The film explores themes of vulnerability, resilience, and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health. Parker hopes audiences will leave the theater feeling inspired to prioritize their mental well-being and support others who may be struggling.

Man Enough to Break premieres Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 6 p.m. at the Douglass Theatre, located at 355 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Macon. To learn more about the film and hear directly from Ronald Parker, viewers can click here to watch the full interview segment that aired on KBTV.
The film’s powerful message serves as a reminder that strength includes asking for help and that no one has to face life’s challenges alone.
